2.) Do I need insurance?

Some of the larger companies provide their own insurance. However, we always recommend that you get your own professional indemnity insurance cover.

3.) What about tax and National Insurance?

Being self-employed means you are viable to pay these yourself, so our advice is to ensure you have a good accountant. We can recommend one for you, or you can find your own.

4.) Why work as a locum?

The answer to this one is simple, be your own boss, work when you want, and where you want.
